Collection:
A balanced programme on the development of the collection of hard copy, audio/video, CD-ROM, and other electronic forms of documents is being followed. The LIC has one of the finest collections of latest management publications. It has already acquired about 6000 books and subscribes to around 145 journals, both Indian and foreign. 95% of the data relating to books has already been digitized. The Audio/Visual unit in the LIC hosts about 200 educational videos covering a wide range of disciplines in Management Science. The videos' catalogue is available in the LIC for reference. A comprehensive set of international databases on CD-ROMs, such as ``ABI/Inform'', ``Business & Industry'', ``Business & Management Practices'', ``Econlit'', and ``Social Science Citation Index'' are being subscribed to with a view to support the research of the faculty, students and researchers. More than half-a-dozen national news dailies and a number of popular magazines on management and computers are also provided. A CD Server/Tower to host the invaluable CD-ROM database collection and the CD Publicaitons is in the offing.
